A nice virtual numeric lock LED

How can we have a useful virtual numeric lock LED on screen by some Linux small utility or command ?

Do you mean a plugin that shows the status of the Num, Caps & Scroll Lock keys? If so, see the kbdleds.sh genmon script for one way of doing it.
