Displaying graphics in xfce4-terminal?

Hi,

Is it doable? some special escape code which allows displaying graphics inline within the emulator?.

I'm referring to "real" graphics not ascii-art.

Thanks

I guess you're referring to sixel support. Here is the feature request to add support into xfce4-terminal, and since xfce4-terminal is based on vte3, here is the current state of sixel support in vte3.

Re: Displaying graphics in xfce4-terminal?

i once was trying to design an embedded graphics system.  it was coded using an extended form of UTF-8. where there were a lot more than 64 possible encodings.  more than even 512 (for those 9-pin terminals).  it was more like up to 2^42 (4398046511104).  i was working on how best to colorize it.
