Can't fullscreen or resize certain applications

Handbrake and Ardour don't fullscreen or minimize when I press the FS button on the window. They also can't be resized by dragging.
I tried resetting configuration but the same behaviour was present.
I tested in other WM's and DE's (LXQT and KDE) and the issue wasn't present there.

[Distro]
Arch Linux, xfce4 & xfce4-goodies groups installed
xfwm 4.16.1-3

Hmmm. Works fine here for me.

Are you using the xfwm4 compositor? What does the following return:

ps -ef | grep xfwm4

Can you create a secondary account on your computer and test from there as well?
