[SOLVED] Keep volume above 100%

Hello,

As my volume is often too quiet at 100%, I choose "open mixer" and change the output device to 153%.
But as soon as I adjust the volume in the panel, it falls back to max.100%. How can I make this permanent?
100% in panel should always be 153%.
I just want to make the 153% the new 100% in panel. So that I have not all the time, when the volume is too quiet to open "open mixer".

Would appreciate some help. Thank you.

Re: [SOLVED] Keep volume above 100%

Thank you for the link. I have made the workaround from your link:

With some extra configuration you can manually work around this issue by adding your own keyboard shortcuts and for

pactl -- set-sink-volume @DEFAULT_SINK@ +53%

which can go over 100%, albeit much more than you might want to. Replace the +7% with whatever step size you like and a negative value for the volume down shortcut.
