Hi
I had xubuntu 20.04 and now 22.04. In 20.04 I change the sound volume (increase or decrease) from the keyboard. I used to see a notification window with a visualization of the sound volume. I am not sure how the "notification window" is called but it looks like this and appears on the top right of the screen:
at some point I stopped seeing the notification window when I changed the sound volume. The issue persists on 22.04.
Any ideas?

You most likely disabled the notifications for it. Check the Notifications dialog:
Or the xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin itself.

Remember to edit the subject of your topic to include the [SOLVED] tag once you're satisfied with the answers or have found a solution (in which case, don't forget to share it as well), so that other members of the community can quickly refer to it and save their time. Pretty please!

Thanks for the prompt answer KBar. The problems was that the notifications was on "Do not disturb"
Apparently some applications managed to push notifications (because they were marked as "urgent"). So I was receiving some notifications and I didn't notice.
