Different mouse cursor based on keyboard layout

Hi,

I need to use several keyboard layouts & switch between them regularly.

Is it possible to change the mouse cursor based on the active layout, namely different cursor shape tor each layout?.

I'm aware of (and using) the panel layout indicator but it's easier to have an indication at the cursor level.
