Discord only shows as a Status Tray Item, not any other item?

I'm currently running Xubuntu 22.04. I have Discord installed from the Snap. The icon for Discord shows just fine in the Status Tray items, but I cannot make it appear as any other type of small icon on my Panel. For example, I'm confident that it used to appear as part of the Indicator Plugin.

Am I correct about Discord's former behaviour? If so, how can I restore it?
