I am bothering you again with these sort of things, but we strive to make our linux distro (based on xfce) very usable. We managed to sync the themes and icons across gtk and qt apps automatically but the font is an issue....is there a way to sync the fonts in XFCE for the QT apps too, automatically?

Like for example adding these to etc/environment will sync gtk with qt in terms of themes
QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME="qt5ct"
QT_QUICK_CONTROLS_STYLE="qt5ct"
Isn't there something similar for the font style?

QGnomePlatform? I've never used it but it looks interesting.

Hmm so that could also work on non-gnome but gtk-based distros? Will try thanks. Also seems to work if I add to etc/environment
QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME="gtk2"
QT_QUICK_CONTROLS_STYLE="gtk2"
Instead of using the qt5ct. I wonder if this solution is ok....but seems to sync fonts, themes, and icons across qt and gtk.
EDIT: Yes they say "This library is used automatically in Gtk based desktops such as Gnome, Cinnamon or Xfce."

Yeah QGnomePlatform works great it seems. Thank you very much indeed!

Actually that one only works with specific themes....so not helpful. But using our scripts +
QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME="gtk2"
QT_QUICK_CONTROLS_STYLE="gtk2"
in etc/environment seems to do the trick
We have to test more ofc. Thanks again, as always.
