Thunar not creating .pdf thumnails

i can get thumnails for all files but pdf files not, i'm using thunar 4.16.8 in zorin lite

Do you have a pdf thumbnailer installed?

fgrep -ri pdf /usr/share/thumbnailers/ | awk -F':' '{print $1}'

If not, atril or evince provide one.

i think yes: i get that result:
/usr/share/thumbnailers/evince.thumbnailer

I added

owner /tmp/{,.}tumbler-* w,

to

/etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.bin.evince

. After reloading via

sudo apparmor_parser -r /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.evince
