Change format of the clock on lightdm greeter

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I'm using the XFCE version of Debian. It's using the LighDM greeter. I wanted to change the format of the clock on the login screen from 24 hour to 12 hour time. I couldnt find a setting anywhere in XFCE to do this. I found while using the xfce desktop lightdm is usually used to login.

Re: Change format of the clock on lightdm greeter

Hello and welcome.

Assuming you are using the lightdm-gtk-greeter, there is a complimentary lightdm-gtk-greeter-settings app that lets you configure the greeter. See http://www.webupd8.org/2014/10/lightdm- … s-gui.html.
