Orage calendar problem

Dear XFCE team,

I used Orage calendar with satisfaction. But after some updates last week (openSUSE Tumbleweed with automatic updates) Orage lost all the notifications. I tried to copy the old files, but Orage overwrites them. I tried manually inputting them, but Orage loses them after I input about 3-4. Could you help me? I need this application, it is very useful.

Re: Orage calendar problem

There was a recent change to libical that impacted a number of calendaring applications like orage. First try downgrading your version of libical to see if the problem is rectified. If so, the new version of libical has been released that has addressed the issue.

Re: Orage calendar problem

Thank you for clarifying this! I have libical 3.0.15 and I cannot for the moment downgrade to 3.0.14, because I use the original repository. But I see libical 3.0.16 is released about yesterday, and I hope openSUSE guys will update the repository soon.

Re: Orage calendar problem

My GNU/Linux (openSUSE Tumbleweed) just updated to libical3-3.0.16 and I confirm that the problem is solved. Thank you once again!
