Thunar is all messed up [solved]

My thunar is all messed up.

I tried removing it and re-installing it.

How do I fix this mess?

Thanks.

Re: Thunar is all messed up [solved]

For the left side pane, go to Edit>Preferences>Side Pane and lower the icon size.

For the right view, click on one of the folders and press Ctrl+- (or View>Zoom Out) to shrink the size of the icons.

To get the menu bar to appear, Ctrl+m.

Now about that desktop......

It looks like that's the panel. Perhaps the ugliest I've ever seen at that.

Re: Thunar is all messed up [solved]

Is there some file I can save that I can restore if this happens again?

Re: Thunar is all messed up [solved]

# To reset side pane icon size:
xfconf-query --channel thunar --property /shortcuts-icon-size --reset
# To reset main window icon zoom (does not update immediately):
xfconf-query --channel thunar --property /last-icon-view-zoom-level --reset
# To reset menu bar (does not update immediately):
xfconf-query --channel thunar --property /last-menubar-visible --reset

Or just use the GUI elements and Ctrl+MouseWheel...
