I use Mint 21 Xfce
How can I make tunar show full qualified paths during copy.?

Are you referring to the file copy dialog? And the filename that is displayed there? If so, it looks like its hard coded to show just the basename, so you'll need to create an enhancement request.

What is an "enhancement request".?
Yes, I refer to the little window that opens when I copy.
It only shows the filename and the target folder.
Even if I take it up to full screen it won't show me any more.
I guess most file mangers does it like that today.
I wonder if there is a real good reason for it except a wish to make it look simple for ignorant users.
I like to be able to see what is going on but that is a luxury I can live without if I absolutely have to.
It is just for sure not very smart in my opinion when for instance a copy of firefox stops for a file it can't copy, and tunar won't tell you where it is.
Maybe that could go for being a bug and a bug is much easier to report and get something done about.?

Go to https://gitlab.xfce.org/groups/xfce/-/issues and click on the "New Issue" button. You will need to have a gitlab account to be able to do so.
I'm calling it an "enhancement request" because you would be looking to change existing behaviour/display. You can put your justification for the change in the tet of the issue report. The developers will respond.

I better let it be up to others.
I cant find my way in it.
I can't even find the "New Issue" button.
If someone else wants to do it the person is welcome to use my draft:

Since the interest is yours, you should be the one to create the report so you could follow it through. Make sure you create a gitlab account first, login with that account and then go to the issue page.

It looks a bit different for new users but with your little extra push I finally managed:
https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/thunar/-/issues/931
It is not important but I wanted to add a picture it wouldn't take.
Thank you very much for all your help.
It is true it is my interest but it is also something I want to improve for all users.
I had therefore hoped more people would participate in the discussion about the relevance before it went on to the developers.
I have no doubt in my mind it is relevant but it depends on the costs and more opinions than just mine. So now when I know more about how the system works I think I will try to prediscuss issues and wishes more in an other forum before I put this page to work.
