Hi,
xset -q:
Keyboard Control:
auto repeat: on key click percent: 100 LED mask: 00000002
but no keyclick sound is made.
Any suggestions?.

Not sure about xset - according to this gentoo wiki article, it requires a keyboard with a built-in speaker to work. But there are a number of other programs that can be used to create keyboard click sounds:
- linux-typewriter
- bucklespring
- linux-clicky
