Re: Thunar not show all devices on left panel

There is also this gvfs bug report. Are you able to test with another file manager like nautilus?  This really seems like some sort of race condition or a system mis-configuration, rather than an Xfce issue.

Re: Thunar not show all devices on left panel

I believe Devuan doesn't use systemd. Where are session logs saved? Can you post back a log file from a problemmatic session?

I believe this is a gvfs bug.

I'm not sure, I'm not familiar with Devuan. Where does Devuan store its X session logs?

If set up, Xfce will log to ~/.xsession-errors. For systemd systems, it also logs to the journal.

The log you provided don't have the error message listed, so its hard to tell whats happening. However, given the bug report your found for udisks2 in post #4 and the gvfs bug I noted in post #6, I believe this is either a gvfs or a udisks2 bug. It might be best to report it there to see what the respective developers say.

Edit: It might be interesting to see what other file managers (nautilus, nemo, caja, dolphon) do in this situation. If you can install them and when the drives don't show up in thunar, try the other file managers to see if they show up there. If it does, it might be worth it to create a thunar bug report.
