a feature i would like to see added to xfce4-terminal:
given the existing feature of a zoom and so many font sizes the ability to draw fonts at so many fine sizes must be supported somewhere. the feature i would like to see is the ability to specify a window geometry in units of pixels separate from the terminal emulation geometry in units of characters and have the display squeezed or stretched in both horizontal and vertical directions to fit. that way, if i need to squeeze in one more character i do not need to jump to a larger window or smaller font or experiment with a few zoom sizes.
personally i like to push rows together. to this end i would also like to be able to specify an alternate row gutter dimension.
