"Window Buttons" Panel item reversed submenu ordering after update?

I'm not sure what to call the list of windows displayed upon clicking a "Window Buttons" button but I swear they were ordered oldest window on the bottom and ascending in order of age from there.
Does anyone know how to restore this behaviour?

Welcome to our forum and Happy New Year!

Right-click on the panel -> Panel Preferences -> Window Buttons -> Properties -> Sorting Order. Looks like grouping by title is also enabled, turn it off.
