When the system boots up everything is fine, but when the screensaver is turned on for a bit, it seems like the display contexts for the duel monitors is lost and is set to mirroring the one monitor onto the other, and I have to go and change it back, only to have it happen again every time i go back to use my computer since only on reboot does it pick them up correctly.
I'm not sure exactly where to begin looking, if its an xorg config i should be worried about or if its something going on with xfce and the screensaver and their interacting with the waking process or what. in my search I was lead to this forum and figure it would be worth a post.
thanks for your time and consideration

Hello and welcome.
Which version of Xfce is on Fedora 36?
Which screensaver are you using?
Can we see your Xfce display settings:
xfconf-query -c displays -v

Xfce Version: 4.16
the result of the xfconf call is:
"No property specified."
and i believe it would be the xfce-screensaver that comes with it this version as I didn't install anything separate.
Ive had this issue for a while on my systems, actually a couple years, never bothered me a crazy amount cause its ussually hours of work before stopping or days without being on my computer, but i figured id try to figure it out. in this case for any extra information this is following a minimal install of fedora 36, then a groupinstall of the xfce desktop, with the rpmfusion repos(an extra maybe 50 packes for the install)
Thank you for you response, and thank you for the welcome.

Sorry, my bad. It should have been:
xfconf-query -c displays -lv
and i believe it would be the xfce-screensaver that comes with it this version as I didn't install anything separate.
Can we confirm?
ps -ef | grep screensaver
