QSpectrumAnalyzer doesn't appears in Whisker Menu.

I have installed QSpectrumAnalyzer, and obviously it has its *.desktop file as /usr/share/applications/qspectrumanalyzer.desktop; I can see it inside "Edit Applications":

Screenshot-2023-01-07-12-58-35.png

But is not listed at all inside Whisker Menu:

QSpectrum-Analyzer.png.

This is the content of the Desktop file:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=QSpectrumAnalyzer
GenericName=Spectrum analyzer
Comment=Spectrum analyzer for multiple SDR platforms (PyQtGraph based GUI for soapy_power, hackrf_sweep, rtl_power, rx_power and other backends)
Exec=qspectrumanalyzer
Icon=qspectrumanalyzer
StartupNotify=true
Terminal=false
Type=Application
Categories=Qt;Science;DataVisualization;Electricity;HamRadio;

What can I do?

Re: QSpectrumAnalyzer doesn't appears in Whisker Menu.

What version of the xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin are you running?

You could try restarting the panel:

xfce4-panel -r

Also right-click on the desktop and select "Applications" and see if it is listed there.

Re: QSpectrumAnalyzer doesn't appears in Whisker Menu.

I'm running xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin 2.7.1-1.

However, I've found the reason: despite the fact that the icon "qspectrumanalyzer" is present in /usr/share/pixmaps/qspectrumanalyzer.png, it didn't appear in the launcher: as I set the icon from another folder (~/Pictures/icons/qspectrumanalyzer.png) now QSpectrumAnalyzer appears in Whisker Menu and display the icon, very odd.
