How to install XFCE 4.18 on Mint 21.1 with Cinnamon

Could you support me in install XFCE 4.18 on Mint 21.1 with Cinnamon ?

I would like to have 3 users on my Mint, one with Cinnamon and secund with XFCE 4.18

Hi Tomaasz,

You could simply install XFCE on your system. At login every user will have the choice to select their environment at the top right corner.
Don't forget that any desktop environment is just a collection of programs to give you a certain feel.

Personally I dislike doing that, as programs will be installed on the system by all desktop environments and will show up in the menus (after all the programs are installed on the machine, so in the /usr/share/applications folder). Try to see if this suits you try it first on a free virtual machine like virtualbox.

Most, if not all debian based systems like Mint are using lightdm as a login-greeter program, so this should apply to your system as well.
