Running Arch with xfce4-session 4.18.0-1 and lightdm 1:1.32.0-4. Chromium browser and its derivatives Google-Chrome and Brave are "invisible" to the session manager -- don't appear in the "current session" list and aren't saved on logout or when "save session" is clicked.
Is this a configuration issue or a bug?

The application itself would need to support XSMP. See https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=7011.

Thank you. That opens up a very interesting area for further study. I haven't found any discussion online related to chromium and xsmp compliance, or why the developers chose not to implement it.
