I am running Xfce on Void Linux [ though the below described problem happened on Xfce running in Fedora as well ].
Well, err, my system never goes to sleep despite whatever timer I have set in the power management settings [ and no, presentation mode is not active ]. I have left my system overnight at the lock screen and it still hasn't gone to sleep. And when I manually put it to suspend/sleep, something as simple as turning off/on the mains/electric power switch to the laptop wakes it up. This strange behaviour wasn't seen before when I ran the desktop environment on Debian. Could it be an issue with the newer kernels on Void/Fedora that is bugging up with my hardware?
