Hi,
I recently installed Linux Mint XFCE 21.1 on my computer and added a new xfce panel.
It consists of several launcher, a seperator and then the Window Buttons.
All launchers show the correct icon (the one that's included in the default Mint-Y-Aqua icons). However, the KeePassXC window button icon is different from the launcher icon.
While this is no major issue, I would like to understand why this is happening and find a way to fix it.
I tried using another icon set and all other window buttons seem to use the correct logo, except for KeePassXC which still uses the old logo no matter what.

Hello and welcome.
In a simplified nutshell, the launcher is using the icon from the .desktop file and the window buttons plugin leverages libwnck, which uses the icon embedded by the application. There was a change in this logic for 4.18 to try to use the icon specified in the .desktop file for window buttons as well.
In the meantime as a workaround, have a read through this post for options using xseticon.
