[solved] genmon stops working after plugin update

In version 4.2.0, the backend settings have been migrated from rc files to xfconf. Individual plugin settings will not be automatically migrated to xfconf and each plugin will need to be manually re-configured. A script has been developed (https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/x … _xfconf.sh) that can offer assistance for the migration.

I just updated xfce4-genmon-plugin to version 4.2.0-1 and on reboot all the plugins on the panel have lost their commands

anyone else see this?

Yes, sorry but it would have been to complex to program something in for a one-time event. I did create a script to help with the migration. Let me know if you need any assistance with that.

I also cleaned up the genmon docs page to make it cleaner and hopefully easier to understand.
