Power Manager systray icon no indicator for presentation mode

As it's stated in the topic, the power manager icon in the status tray plugin doesn't change it's appearance when presentation mode is turned on, as it does when it is used as a panel plugin. Is this by design?

It doesn't look like its supported on the systray - only on the panel plugin. Is there any reason that you're not using the panel plugin instead?
