Lock Screen Configuration - How?

I am fairly confused as to how I configure the look of the lock screen.  I am running xfce on top of Debian on a raspberry pi 4 - this was a clean install from the rpi-imager of the lite OS version but I did also install xfce-goodies.  I don't want a screensaver and I don't have xscreensaver installed.  I was able to change the lock screen wallpaper by copying a file here: /usr/share/images/desktop-base/ and renaming it to login-background.svg so I know it's possible to tweak.

Is there a gui interface for these settings?  If not, that's ok, as I am comfortable working with config files.

Bonus question: how do I blur the background on the lock screen as well?
