[CLOSED] Thunar Use Current Folder Icon

Thunar 4.18.6
Openbox on Arch Linux

When I start Thunar with " Use Current Folder Icon" off (unticked) it starts up using the current window icon. If I then tick and untick the box in preferences it changes to the thunar icon.

Any ideas?

Re: [CLOSED] Thunar Use Current Folder Icon

That setting is stored in xfconf. Prior to starting thunar, is the xfconfd process running?

Also, do you run thunar in daemon mode?

ps -ef | grep -i thunar

Re: [CLOSED] Thunar Use Current Folder Icon

xfconf is running

starting thunar, not in daemon mode, shows the current folder icon (Use Current Window icon unticked)

restart thunar in daemon mode and it shows the thunar icon  (Use Current Window icon unticked)

Re: [CLOSED] Thunar Use Current Folder Icon

I wonder if its a timing thing. Might be a good idea to create a bug report.
