How can I enable the cursor in the app? Everywhere else the cursor is visible.

Does this still work?

Thank you very much. It worked. I created the gtk.css in the gtk-3.0 folder and it works.
My lame excuse, I completely forgot about it, and didn't search the web.

Now that it happened twice, I ask out of curiosity because in this case I created the .css file. What else provided me with a visible cursor until now? xfce4-notes is one of my core utilities. my notes are backed up in the cloud, and it's always installed immediately with new installations.

Since you tweaked this before and had to re-create the gtk.css file, perhaps it somehow got deleted?

I had a vague memory, but didn't remember where I posted about it. I will look in last week's Timeshift backup of the home folders.

It was installed on 23-05-31. No gtk.css were found in any previous backups. But after adding the gtk.css, the next day gtk also added a gtk-3.0.css wih the same content, and nothing else added.
