Date formatting in notification plugin

using 0.7.3 of xfce4-notifyd

I just updated the notifyd manually because of some issues and the new version includes this date and time after the notification in applet..

it's really long and looks kinda messy.. I either wanna get rid of it like be it like show date and time when hovering or just get completely rid of it or I wanna make it shorter like just show date and time. Not day or year or timezone
