Clearing error message - Problem blacklist hash (1-13)

I've noted this error flash up at start up on Debian 12 with kernel 6.1.0-9. It turns out to be an kernel error in BIOS which from what I understand is currently being worked on, presumably by someone like Linus Torvalds.

It can be also viewed in terminal using $ sudo dmesg | grep blacklist

My MSI BIOS is up to date with the latest drivers. What I've found in my MSI X570s motherboard BIOS, is under settings; Advanced - Windows OS Configuration - Secure Boot - Key Management - Provision Factory Default Key Management the blacklisted keys can be cleared which does remove the error warning on start up and in Key Management there is a setting to disable current keys.

Reading online some say these keys shouldn't be hidden and be safely ignored: https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/3b997266-0 … gikod.net/

As secure boot has to be disabled for any Linux distribution to run and this key management is apart of secure boot settings in the MSI BIOS, to me it shouldn't cause any problem as secure boot is disabled anyway.

Question I have is, am I running a risk by clearing these keys in BIOS. What are your thoughts?

Thanks for that.  Your link got the brain working this morning, this wally never thought to look up to see if Secure boot was listed on Debian Wiki ...which it is.

https://wiki.debian.org/SecureBoot

"Starting with Debian version 10 ("Buster"), Debian included working UEFI Secure Boot to make things easier"

Hey ho.
