xfce4-terminal not detecting some fonts

Hi,

I have numerous fonts installed but xfce4-terminal->preferences->appearance->font shows only a small subset.

The xft DB (via fc-cache) is up to date and the fonts appear in other emulators such as tilda.

Any way to fix this?.
