Hi and welcome.
There's probably something wrong with your installation and the shared libraries in particular but I might be wrong. Do you use nocsd by any chance?
Remember to edit the subject of your topic to include the [SOLVED] tag once you're satisfied with the answers or have found a solution (in which case, don't forget to share it as well), so that other members of the community can quickly refer to it and save their time. Pretty please!

I have NoCSD on Fedora 38 XFCE SPIN, I never encounter this in any XFCE based Software, only on search bar in settings, but that fixed after new 4.18 released...

Hello, thansk for reply guys! @BenyaminL, @KBar, the problem i think is from oracle server's kernel
(I installed XFCE4 on always free ARM 4+24GB server), i tried with ubt 18,20 and 22, all 3 versions with different bugs:
on ubt 18 -> xfce 4.12 I can't set themes, and I can't see icons on desktop and panel
on ubt 20 -> xfce 4.14 window borders are gone, and so i can't close, maximize and hide windows
on ubt 22 -> xfce 4.16 and 4.18, works quite well, apart the column issue reported above
In 2022 i installed xfce on ubt 18 and it worked really well, and now i don't remember the oracle kernel version anymore, because i can't connect it again and I had to reinstall everything from 0.
and these are the commands used on oracle ubt:
sudo apt-get update;
sudo apt-get upgrade;
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xubuntu-dev/staging
sudo apt-get update;
sudo apt install xfce4=4.18 lightdm xfce4-goodies -> 4.18 works well on ubt 22
on other ubt version: sudo apt install xfce4 lightdm xfce4-goodies
Obviously I tried both without lightdm and without goodies, always the same problem, i tried also with xubuntu-desktop, always 3 problems listed above, so i think that, the oracle kernel is no longer compatible with xfce4.
I tried also 4.18 on DEBIAN 12, always with oracle kernel, column issue again.

I never use UEK, I don't know if it's really change anything tho?
Do you build yourself, or it's installed on Ubuntu, using ubuntu repo, and using UEK build kernel?
Try use Fedora. If it isn't the problem, then try to check using terminal and thunar service, is there any error raised or not.
Also tried use Thunar build from source.

I think the problem is not thunar, but a UEK's compatibility problem, all software, both pre-exists and those installed by me, are all without column names.
I think the only solution is to wait for the future version of oracle server. Thanks so much!
