Touchscreen with Multiple Monitors

I recently switched to the XFCE on Arch with my touchscreen HP Envy with a functional touchscreen and an IR stylus I use for a writing app. I often switch between carrying the laptop around and note taking works well with the built in screen. However, an issue that I have seen posted on here is the touchscreen maps the input to the whole monitor setup, effectively turning it into a really big mousepad. I didn't see any solutions for this as it seems to be a bug with the display settings but I'm not sure how to rectify it. Thanks
