brightness step count not working

hi. so you have all the history i come from this https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=16951 i did the minimum setting and it worked but days ago i found the same fault begotten —screen lightless from 9%—; so i changed my kernel from 5.4.192-pclos to 6.5.6-pclos. here i dont have the fault of lightlessness (and i dont need the minimum setting) but i lost the step count—i had 100. now i have 12-13% steps from 100 to 5 —so it doesnt respond in this range— and in 4 and 3 the step is 25%, and in 2 and 1 50% (all changes by the Settings Editor)

this is some bug or there is something i can do?

Re: brightness step count not working

Have a look at the power manager settings on the Display tab - there will be an option for brightness step amount and a checkbox for "Exponential". Try enabling that to see if it helps with the unequalness of the steps.

Re: brightness step count not working

In Display the option isnt; it's in Power Manager.

The exponential is for other thing and does nothing
