VNC password does not get accepted every time the VNC session locks

The GNOME environment in VNC is xfce4. The VNC password does not get accepted every time the VNC session locks unless we restart it. This only happens to a single user. The configuration we set is the same for all users. We are getting "incorrect password" when logging in after it gets locked. We already tried resetting the password, but when it locks, we face the same issue again.
