I have used this forum for many years but had not officially registered yet. I am 70 years old and retired 6 years ago. When I retired I decided to take the plunge into Linux not least because I am NOT a fan of Windows. Having worked in the government for over 30 years has put me off completely for rules and regulations on how things "have" to be done especially when it comes to my desktops.
I am a huge fan of Debian in all its forms but especially of XFCE which has (as of 6 years ago) renewed in me the joy of computing. Being as I worked for the government, obviously I am a "process" oriented maniac which is why my versions of Linux don't make it more than 30 days without fresh installs.
Anyway keep up the good work you guys do and a special shout out to TOZ who has been my savior on many occasions.
Thanks guys
Richard
