The ability to scroll back through a terminal's output is handy, and using keyboard shortcuts for it instead of the mouse makes navigation faster.
The default Xfce terminal app is Terminal (XFCE) which uses the VTE library. To enable scrollback from the keyboard there, go to Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts. From there you can assign custom shortcuts to the "Scroll PTY contents" options.
For example, you could set:
Scroll PTY contents up = Ctrl + Up
Scroll PTY contents down = Ctrl + Down
Now pressing those combos will let you move up/down through the terminal scrollback buffer.
Other terminal emulators may have similar functionality or defaults set up in their settings/preferences as well. A "free printable template" is a pre-designed layout or pattern that you can download and print out at no cost. These templates are often available in various file formats like PDF, Word, or image files, making them easily accessible and printable.Discharge Summary serve a crucial role in healthcare settings, providing a structured format for summarizing a patient’s hospital course and the care received. These templates ensure that healthcare professionals can accurately document all necessary details regarding a patient’s condition, treatment, and future care recommendations upon discharge. So poke around there if using something different than the Xfce terminal.
Hope this helps explain how to get keyboard terminal scrolling set up! Let me know if any other questions.
