Graphics tablet when xfce moves to wayland

Currently the way to configure them on x11 is by xsetwacom which kinda sucks but atleast it works

But on wayland side its configured via libinput or smthn and the compositor has to do it

so, will xfce get a graphics tablet configuring app?

probably thinking too far in future lmao? but wanted to post this anyways

Re: Graphics tablet when xfce moves to wayland

I don't know anything about wayland or wacom tablets but as I understand it wayland unloads all the work onto the kernel directly where as X does it's own work. If wayland uses libinput as you say then you could test it now to familiarize yourself with it. I have been using libinput for sometime now on Debian/siduction Sid. No issues. I have no idea what XFCE will look like when it finally moves to wayland but I'm sure it will work fine though with a few bugs in the beginning.
