In all my other computer I have exactly all the same software installed, and never happened this. I am using ArchLinux, with everything updated/bugdated. Actually I am using an iMac16,2, this is only where the problem happens. I always use xfce4-docklike-plugin-0.4.1 with my xfce4 panel. Now, the problem, on that iMac I can't unminimize/maximize any minimized window. The built-in xfce4's window management plugin works fine (minimize/maximize). Alt+Tabing works fine also. I installed Cairo-dock (because might be some docklike-plugin bug or whatever), and Cairo has the same problem as docklike-plugin. I can't maximize minimized windows. Can someone help, and how to start to debug the problem?

It should be fixed in version 0.4.2: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xfce … ike-plugin

Removed 0.4.1, compiled and installed 0.4.2, rebooted, but still the same. This behavior also happens if I run Cairo-dock. How to debug that, and see what could be happening?
It may be some new bugdate from ArchLinux core repository.

Did you restart the panel?
xfce4-panel -r

Do you have "focus follow mouse" enabled in xfwm4 settings? Could be https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/x … /issues/51

Tamaranch, I found it in the xfwm4-tweaks-settings that trigger that bug. It is in "Focus" tab (the second tab), "activar la prevencion de la perdida del foco" (spanish config, it's just the first option on top, something like "activate the prevention of focus loss"), when this option is enabled, it triggers the no maximize bug.
My question, why is that so conflicting option here? It really should be disabled and user should be warned, before enabling it.
Thanks you very much, I hope someone write some warning for so conflicting option.
EDIT: also tryed what you said, inthe xfwm4-setting (the one where you can theme window manager). In the "Focus" tab I had disabled "focus follows mouse". If I enable it, and some window lose focus, I just can't minimize the focus lost window. The contrary problem that previously I had.

Yes, as in the bug quoted above, it's linked to the fact that the plugin is run as external (in a separate process). Unlike the tasklist plugin, which is run as internal (in the same process as the panel).
As stated in the bug quoted, since version 0.4.2 it should be possible to run docklike as internal without problems (most memory allocation problems and crashes have been fixed). To my knowledge, this is the only workaround available for this type of problem, and especially for dnd problems (see https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/x … /issues/24 ).
Just do this and restart the panel:
sudo sed -i 's/X-XFCE-Internal=false/X-XFCE-Internal=true/' /usr/share/xfce4/panel/plugins/docklike.desktop
