Hi, I am running xfce on Nixos.
My browser's (brave) appearance is huge, as if I have a visual impairment.
The top panels are all huge, and the text is too large.
How do I remedy this?
Also, I have a fairly basic set up, ( plata-noir-compact).
There are 73 xfce packages in Nixos Packages, so if anyone has any tips, ( a good guide) , I'd be delighted.

Hello and welcome.
What version of Xfce are you running?
xfce4-about -V
Can you also post back the output of:
xfconf-query -c xsettings -lv
xfconf-query -c displays -lv
xrandr

Maybe a screenshot would help to understand what you mean by big - the values there look normal.
Do you have any files in the ~/.config/gtk-3.0 folder? If so, can you post back the content of those?
And finally, can you post back:
ls -a | grep x

Hi ToZ,
Nothing in either .config/gtk-3.0 or .config/gtk-4.0
I downloaded Floorp & it is behaving the same as Brave

Everything looks fine with your settings. It must be an issue with the Brave browser.
For example, see: https://community.brave.com/t/how-to-re … rks/433625.
Doesn't Brave now have vertical tab bars? Would that suffice as an option (sorry but don't use brave).
