Do Nothing when monitor plugged in

In Display settings there is an option to do nothing when a display is connected, however Xfce automatically mirrors the displays when I connect a new one with said option selected.

Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong elsewhere?

Thank you.

Try switching it to show dialog. You should get a pop up when you connect then you can make your choice.

Thank you eriefisher.
Indeed that works as expected, however I was looking for an option to do nothing when a monitor is connected.

If that option is buggy should a bug report be submitted?

Ok then a bug report will probably be welcome, I don't think it exists yet: https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-settings/-/issues
