New app icon should insert to right in taskbar.

You appear to be running Xfce in a different language/locale. Ctrl+right-click on the button, select "Properties", and adjust the "Sorting Order" setting. See if that helps.

Assuming you are using the "Window Buttons" plugin, see the image at: https://docs.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/tasklist. Its the last option in the Appearance section.

Sorting Order:
Timestamp,
Group title and timestamp,
Window title,
Group title and Window title,
Noting, drag enable.

Choose Timestamp new app icon will insert to right.
