updating OS, no panels

All:

So I just upgraded to Debian 12.  I imported '.../.config/xfce4' directory from my old Debian 11, and it seems partially restored, but my panels are not there.  Is there something else I need to copy?

Did you dist-upgrade or reinstall and copy the files over?

I reinstalled to a fresh disk then copied the directory to retrieve my settings.  However I've since fixed it.  Going in to 'Panel Preferences' it seems my panel #1 was attached to 'DVI-D-0' which, AFAICT, does not exist.  Changing that to 'DVI-D-1' ... which seems correct ... brought it back.  So possibly there's a minor bug there.
