Match Whisker Menu to Theme

Hi guys. Is there and easy way to make the whisker menu match different themes that I choose?

I probably have to use a bunch of code, but thought it was worth asking.

Re: Match Whisker Menu to Theme

It should happen automatically when you change the theme. What exactly are you seeing when you change your appearance theme?

Re: Match Whisker Menu to Theme

When I change my theme from dark to light the whisker menu stays in dark mode.

I had Debian with xfce installed. Maybe I just had some settings mixed up.

I've already changed to LM xfce and it doesn't do that in here.

A couple of things to check:

  1. Ensure that "Dark Mode" is not enabled in the panel preferences, appearance tab.

  2. Ensure that you don't have an CSS in ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css that is forcing dark mode

  3. Ensure that the theme you are using doesn't force dark colors on whiskermenu or the panel
