Hello dear XFCE peeps!
Ive been running XFCE on my old MacBook for a couple of months. I havent really gotten XFCE to work quite as good as I would like. For example, only 1 "mouse button" working on the touchpad, hard to find a fitting font/general size, general worse battery time.
This evening it started acting all weird:
ALT-tab have stopped working
I have to close Note or Terminal or any programs (I think) to type outside them for example since alt-tab or using the touchpad/mouse doesnt work
The panel is gone, cant get it to start which means the ⌘ command key is the only way I can access anything. Or minimizing or closing programs
I cant move the Firefox window
I have tried restarting the laptop without saving the session.
Im running:
Xfce 4.18
GTK 3.24.41
kernel 6.5.13-7
EDIT: added more problems

Most of your issues sound like hardware/driver problems. I would check on the Manjaro forum. For the panel, sheck under settings>>panel to see if "hide panel" is checked.
I tried to run Manjaro a while back but ultimately abandon it. I found it way too buggy. Services would fail to start. Glitchy issues kept popping up. I just got tired of trying to fix it.

Sounds like xfwm4 has crashed or is not running. Try running:
xfwm4
Log files would also help identify the issues.
