[Solved] Panel dark mode not working in Debian 12 (bookworm)

Hi all,

the panel setting "Dark mode" does not work on my debian 12 (panel stays light).

What can I do to debug this issue? Thank you.

Do you have any content in ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css or ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini? If so, can you post back the content?

Which Appearance (Gtk) theme are you using? Does the problem persist with another theme?

Which Appearance (Gtk) theme are you using?

That was it!
As I configure xfce with ansible and xfconf, I forgot to actually set one!

With Adwaita, everything work as expected, thank you.
