Files under Workspace

Hi All,

In my linux environment, I have four (4) workspaces.
Currently I am in workspace1

I am opening two files say  file.txt and output.log
These two files are not visible, hidden.
I have to press "Alt+Tab" to see these files.
Basically these two files are moving to workspace1 but hidden.

But I want always the files to be opened outside of this workspac1, so that it dispalys individually
file.txt
output.log

How to get this?
