Desktop zoom doesn't work if 'Grab' key to move windows is 'none'

hello

Desktop zoom hasn't worked for me for some time. So I spent a couple of days
trying to find out why, and I found that it works again when setting
the 'grab' key to 'alt' (or some other key). Desktop zoom doesn't work at all
if the window grab key is set to 'none'. This is kind of unexpected behavior,
as the 'window grab' key is  totally unrelated to the desktop zoom function.
Is this a feature or a bug?...

thnx !

Re: Desktop zoom doesn't work if 'Grab' key to move windows is 'none'

Desktop zoom is tied to the grab key in the code. So its probably not a bug, but feel free to create an enhancement request to separate the two. Note that there a few existing bug reports/enhancement request existing for desktop zoom.

There already was a similar request there, 3 years old, so I put an upvote there and a suggestion to just put a remark in the compositor dialog about this..
