Hello,
I'm running a ThinLinc cluster for a predecessor and have very little knowledge of ThinLinc or xfce. Users access a "ThinLinc" server that balances VNC sessions between two remote servers. That's the ThinLinc part.
However, one of these remote "Agent" servers has stopped allowing new sessions and I suspect it is because ThinLinc isn't able to initiate xfce. I barely understand GNOME and I can't figure out where it's failing. I check the ThinLinc logs and see that it tries to establish its own form of xinit that errors, "tl-session: tl-xinit exited with status=1"
I look and don't see some of the contents /etc/X11/ that I see people talking about, also:
-- app-defaults
-- default-display-manager
-- fonts
-- ja_JP.eucJP
-- ko_KR.eucKR
-- rgb.txt
-- xkb
-- Xreset
-- Xreset.d
-- Xresources
-- Xsession
-- Xsession.d
-- Xsession.options
-- XvMCConfig
-- Xwrapper.config
System logs don't seem to really indicate what's going on, but maybe I don't know what I'm looking for. Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to get answers from the ThinLinc side, too.
