folders open on host computer

hi
I use window remote desktop to connect to my ubuntu computer using xrdp. After I enter the ubuntu xfce desktop and click any folders or file systems, they opens on the host Ubuntu computer.
How to fix it?

Re: folders open on host computer

the thunar file manager icon and folder were shown on the host ubuntu computer. Is there a setting in certain config file to tell the xfce to display the file folders on the remote computer?
Thank you,

Re: folders open on host computer

There is no setting in thunar or Xfce that would do this. Perhaps there is something in xrdp settings that is doing this? Maybe like a seamless mode? What remote desktop client are you using for the connection?

Re: folders open on host computer

Thank you so much for your reply. I use  windows' remote desktop program on my window 11 system.

After some troubles, it works now. I tried to reinstall xfce, thunar etc and after restart it worked.
